When your audience is done listening to the end of a particular section of your track (drop, verse, intro, etc.), they should want to hear more of this section.

This is the key to creating a compelling arrangement.

So many different factors go into this "wanting to hear more" feeling from the listener.

The sounds you choose to have in each particular section, how they evolve, the particular notes you play for these instruments can all have an impact on the interest of a particular section of your song.

čĺ¬ACTION TO TAKE

Listen back to each section of your song and ask yourself if you want to hear more of this section at the end of it.

If the answer is no, then think of all the different components in the section and how they come together and make adjustments where you see fit to create more interest and anticipation.
